Getting Down and Dirty
First Rounds Played
The first couple of rounds of paintballs have been played. Due to the damn weather, we struggled with our 3g signal this morning, but all seems to be working again now so keep checking back for the latest. The fields are playing great and the competition is hot. Blitzkreig are the only team that have not shown (due to bad weather no doubt). Its brightening up at the moment and everyone has come prepared for the worst this time, so there shouldn't be any problems.

Samurai To Rule Them All?
Samurai topped Division 1 the last time we played Dartford and it looks like they fancy doing the same again with three wins under their belt already. In Group B, UK Preds are leading the pack. And in Group C, Relentless are once again firing on all cylinders.

NK Guests Playing for XM7
Drying Out
The rain has stopped and D7s is starting to dry out. The games roll on, with scoresheets coming in all the time. We're a bit short staffed so it's a job to keep up, but we'll try to keep bang up to date. Relentless have just dropped there first game of the day, but the leaders in Group A and B are still looking strong.

Break Time
Topcats have pulled a few wins out of the bag this morning to pull in to top position in Group C, with Relentless, London Halloween, AP Havos and Redskins A all just one win behind them! Going to be an interesting division this afternoon by the looks of it. Demolition Squad are doing their best to catch UK Preds in Group B. And XM7 are trying to the same with Samurai in Group A. We are a nose-bag break for the minute. Go get some fresh air and come back to the Half-Way Inn in a while. See you then.

Games Back On
Lunch has been and gone. The refs have kicked off the afternoon session with Snatch vs. Redemption on the Millennium field, and The UK Preds vs. Demolition Squad on the NSPL field. Remember, after this round, the NSPL Season Rankings will be fully updated so today's results can have a big impact on each teams standings.

Hardcore Balling in The Rain
Time to Get Wet Again
The rain is coming back. Seems we are cursed to a May of wet paintballing in the NSPL, but its only light at the moment and I guess everyone's hoping it will stay that way. Portsmouth Halloween must have had a good re-think over lunch, as they have won both games since. Redskins A took their 5th game to pull level with Topcats, but then Topcats made mincemeat out of Redskins B to regain the lead. In Group B, Demolition Squad faced UK Preds in a crucial game. Nothing seems to be able to stop the Preds from making an awesome NSPL debut though and the win from that game should see they through to first place. Stick around and find out later.

Coming To A Head
We're getting through games thick and fast here at D7s and things are coming to a head for Round 5. Check out the scoreboards for the latest.

Round 5 Comes to an End
Its A Wrap
The fifth round of the 2007 NatWest Southern Paintball League is now over and done with. The final scores and positions can be seen above. Congratulations to Samurai for topping Group A again, UK Preds for a blinding performance earning them top in Group B, and Redskins A who took Group C. Hard luck and a great performance to London Halloween who tied with Redskins A, but came second due to the tie-break rules. Thanks everyone for making it a great day despite some bad weather.
