Snake Work
Round Eight!
Round 8 is underway and all the big shooters are turning up as I write in order to secure their end of season places. With just a few events left and today's being the last Reading event where East meets West, there's everything to play for and it is sure to be a thrilling, action packed day. The heat is on people - stick around to find out what unfolds!

Samurai
Off We Go
The games are well underway here at Reading and you can tell the atmosphere is tense already. In the battle for the all important first place for Division 1, both Samurai and Cynergy Academy drop their first game - is the pressure showing? Outrage UK may also cause an upset or two for these teams today; its going to interesting as the day progresses.

Outrage Wave Goodbye
Outraged
A bit of a strange one here people... Outrage have decided not to play the rest of the tournament for reasons of their own. No gripes with the event, refs or organisation apparently, but they have packed up for the day. This may be a dissapointment to some of the teams due to play them later to day, or it may not depending on their point of view. More updates coming your way...

Too Close to Call
The scores in all four divisions are very close at the moment and its too early to call any winners at this stage. Harry P from Cynergy Academy was quoted as saying, "Its a rip-roaring start to the pre-lunch fantastics!" Gay boy!!!

Samurai Breakout
NSPL Rules!
Well, lunch time approaches and its still nail-biting stuff with no-one really running away with. In Div 1, after four games played, Portsmouth Halloween and Maidenhead Trauma are just out in front whilst Cyn Academy, Snatch and DeNovo follow close behind. Bath Corrupt are doing well in Div 2. Div 3 is far too close to make any predicitions. In Div 4, TopCats are once again putting in a good performance.

Lunch
We're half way through the day here at the Reading NSPL. The atmosphere is great and the level of play is as good as ever. We'll be taking a short break and then continuing with all the action later this afternoon.

Shock backup Samurai
Back to Work
We're back to the grind after a relaxed and enjoyable lunch break. Portsmouth Halloween just lost to Samurai, opening up Div 1 for a tight finish this afternoon. But elsewhere, the much anticipated match-up between Swarm and Freekz drew the crowds. After the battle of epic proportions, Freekz shoot Swarm off the field and hang the flag with under 20 seconds of game time remaining. Time to pay up people! ;)

Finishing Post
As the competition approaches its end, Portsmouth Halloween pull off another win to put them in a very strong position in the race for first place. Cyn Academy and Maidenhead Trauma are then battling it out for second. In Div 2, Impact UK have extended their lead with some impressive performances. Div 3 is being led by Portsmouth Uni at the moment and Div 4 is now a close run thing between TopCats, Relentless and Redskins A.
